but i think i messed mi gim gd/pi.:huh: any idea about hostel aminities in liba.iguess there r no hostels b'cause it's not mentioned in prospectus
i think there is a hostel facility in LIBA. I don't know the details as I don't need them but in the online application form, under LIBA Details, you had to choose if hostel facility is required or not...may be Loyola have a common hostel for all the institutes...its a pretty campus - i must say...

well abhishikta liba by itself does not have hostel facilities. few guys can try and apply for the hostel which accomodates the under-graduate and post graduate students of loyola college.as far as girls are concerned there is no scope for a hostel facility at all.they'll have to try and get to stay somewhere outside.:)

now don't tell me that you weren't notified through e-mail about the GD&Interveiw.what; you should have done is to immediately rang them up and told them about the situation you were in.howp they'll understand:)
call them up and tell them that u wanna confirm it now...they'll take it...look in Liba Results Out thread for a similar exp of mine...

Even i got a call from LIBA,Chennai.Hav 88%tile.But am confused should i attend it or not. i am from Surat , Gujarat.Graduation in Computer Engg 2004 batch.Right now huntin for a job. jus cleared I fllex test few days back will hav an interview soon.Should i attend LIbA or continue with my job hunt.. if a get a job i can always do my MBA from a better institute after a few year.. wht say.. any kind of advice will be helpful...

well man seems like stdying this year is a secondary one for you.well if you feel you are in better position to study after you start working ,wel and good otherwise i would suggest why not anyway attend the interview and if selected,decide whether to study or not.option is open to you.:)

dude u gotta be good with ur basics of ur undergrad studies
well if ur a conmmerce grad , expect questions like
accounting standards of ICAI , Ratios , and hell lot of those basic stuff
and hey Current Affairs , Thats very impi
neways some trivia , there are many mallu folks in LIBA , some from pala also
so dont be surprised if u find ur cousin

hey some of you must have had gd&interview; today.so tell us how was ur experience?:)
guys,i feel like me many of you might have already finished up with your gd and interview.i think the gd topic was same on all days.i think twas "who is responsible for corruption,is it the individual or is it in the system".and interview was ok kind of. they mainly asked subject related questions.and about the results ,they said it would be out by 28th or so.ok then,be in touch guys n gals.:)

I went for the interview in LIBA in chennai from delhi . It was a good experience , travelling after a long time . 
But heres what i have to say about LIBA ..located in the Loyola campus ,
just has 2 buildings . Infrastructure - Ok , but not that gr8
About the hostel , the director informed us that the hostel wud be coming up in this academic sesssion by august , and in the mean time they may accomodate men at the Loyola college hostel till the hostel work is completed .
Fees - Pretty decent around 2-2.5 lakhs for the entire course leaving the hostel offcourse
Placements - 100percent
Average salary - 3.5 lakhs , Highest - 5.5 lakhs
Our GD topic was
Reservation in the Private sector
GD was cool ...not really a fish market , they also asked us to write the summary on a piece of paper and we were supposed to read it out in the interview
Interview ..lasted bout 10 mins for everyone . questions on acads , GA , and usual work ex.(if any )
particular stress was on why LIBA ?
so hope that my experience wud help out the fellow junta 😃
i'd given the liba GD/PI at chennai,it was good the gd topic was verysimple and formal currect topic was there. western countries and indian youth was the topic. and the PIis very funny ..there were three panel around me.one was women another one is old man and one was young boy..they were ask me general question like why u want to join liba,abt hobbies,acadamic question,as i am commerce student and belongs to business family they were ask me abt that. at mid of interview they discussed eachother to gave me somestressbut as a moral and sincere student i'm i managed to controll them to gave some physological facts ..so i think i'll definitely select ..because they were impressed on my thechnique of balancing asnwer and good leadership quality..but i have a call from bim and ximb so i would think to choose .
